Terms of Service

Last updated 8 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Piepaye at piepaye.vercel.app. Piepaye is operated by Sai Swarup as an independent personal project. It’s free: a ledger where you record your own transactions and see your balances, budgets and investments add up. By signing in, you agree to these terms.

What Piepaye is

Piepaye is a tool for keeping track of your own money and understanding it better. Every figure it shows is calculated from what you enter. It doesn’t connect to your bank, card provider or broker, and it can’t move money.

Piepaye is not a bank, a broker, an investment adviser, a tax adviser or any other kind of financial institution, and nothing in it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See the Disclaimer.

Your account

  • You sign in with a Google account. Piepaye never sees or stores a password; keeping your Google account secure is up to you.
  • Your Piepaye account is for you alone. Use it for your own records, not on behalf of others or as a business service.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Piepaye.

Your data

What you enter stays yours. You can export your transactions to a spreadsheet at any time, correct or delete any entry, and permanently delete your account and all of its data from Settings. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored and where.

You’re responsible for what you enter. Don’t store other people’s personal information, or anything you aren’t entitled to record.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • try to access another person’s account or data, or to get around Piepaye’s security;
  • overload, scrape or disrupt the service, or use it to store or send anything unlawful or harmful;
  • use Piepaye in a way that breaks the law.

An account that is used this way may be suspended or removed.

Availability and changes

Piepaye is provided free of charge, as it is, by Sai Swarup. It runs on third-party infrastructure (Supabase and Vercel) and may be slow, unavailable or interrupted at times. Features may change, and the service may be discontinued. Keep your own copy of anything important; the transaction export helps with that.

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change too. Continuing to use Piepaye after a change means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty and limits of responsibility

Piepaye is provided without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Sai Swarup isn’t liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including financial decisions you make based on what it shows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can’t be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using Piepaye at any time, and delete your account and all of its data yourself in Settings. Deletion is immediate and can’t be undone.

Contact

Questions or requests: piepaye.support@gmail.com. This inbox is read by Sai Swarup, not a staffed support desk, so replies can take a few days. Please don’t send passwords or financial details by email.

You can also do most things yourself in the app: export your transactions from the ledger, edit any entry, and delete your account in Settings.
